Naggar Castle
If you love history then Naggar Castle is the place for you to stay. The Castle was built by Kullu Raja Sidh Singh in the early 16th century. The wood-and-stone structure has been built in the traditional Kath-Kuni style of architecture. Later during British rule, the Castle also served as the official residence of British officials.
The castle was converted into a heritage hotel in 1978 and since then it’s been run by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC). The rooms are cosy with a balcony that offers breathtaking views of the Kullu valley and the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. The Castle offers free breakfast and a free parking facility is also available.
Heritage Satikva Resorts
Located near Naggar, Heritage Satikva Resorts is highly and positively reviewed and rated on Tripadvisor. The beautiful and cosy wooden rooms offer spectacular views of the mountains.
