Planning to visit Tirthan and Jibhi in June? This is the sort of maddening traffic you encounter throughout your way.
1
Huge traffic jams witnessed all the way from Aut to Tirthan, Jibhi and up to Jalori Jot, are due to heavy rush on narrow roads. The bumper-to-bumper traffic moves inch by inch here.
2
The National Highway 305 from Aut to Jalori Jot, which was damaged in the monsoon last year, is still to be repaired. This is resulting in horrible traffic jams.
3
You escape one traffic snarl-up, only to enter another one in Tirthan valley. The narrow road of Tirthan valley is no better than the NH 305, only worse.
4
This narrow and congested road with narrower curves ensures frequent traffic jams up to Jibhi.
5
From Jibhi to Jalori, the traffic situation becomes even worse as the narrow road becomes steeper till it reaches Jalori Jot, the high mountain pass.
6
Around 10,000 tourists enter these two valleys in summers. So, even if you are ready to brave the traffic jams, you may not get accommodation of your choice.
