The art gallery is housed in a villa, which used to be the residence of Russian painter and explorer Nicholas Roerich. The gallery exhibits Roerich and his son’s paintings.

The Roerich estate in Naggar also houses Urusvati Himalayan research institute. Converted into a museum, it displays art works and Roerich memorabilia.

A wood-and-stone structure and built in the early 16th century in the traditional Kath-Kuni architectural style, Naggar castle is another major attraction here.

The Naggar castle houses Jagtipatt temple with a triangular flat rock slab. The legend has it that a swarm of bees had carried the rock slab from Rohtang Pass to this temple.

The Naggar castle also has a folk museum on the art and culture of Kullu.

Built in the Pagoda style, the heritage temple of Mother Goddess Tripura Sundari is located near the Naggar Castle.

The ancient and historic stone temple of Lord Krishna stands on a hilltop, known as Thawa. The temple is located around 1 km from Naggar castle.

The Krishna temple follows the same architectural style as does the Vishweshwar Mahadev temple of Bajaura in Kullu.
The iconic Jana waterfall is also near Naggar. A beautiful road with huge deodar trees on both sides takes you from Naggar to the Jana waterfall.
