DAGSHAI
A small and beautiful town in the pine forests of Solan district in Himachal Pradesh, Dagshai attracts the curious traveler. Dagshai was founded in 1847 by the Britishers as a cantonment town after merging five villages. There is a lot to explore and many ghost stories to be heard here originated in the British days. Besides wandering in the beautiful surroundings and the pine forests, you can also explore the historic Dagshai prison, now converted into a museum — the second such museum in the country — its beautiful churches and cemeteries.
